So...I finally gave in....

I went to see Prince on the 14th August. First time I attended one of his gigs.
Absoloutely LOVED it and had the time of my life. The man's energy and stage presence was astounding.

So...I'm coming back for more...
Digging deep into my (or should I say my husbands) bank account and paying WELL OVER THE ODDS to attend the 6th September show...

Yay! I'm so excited.

Anyone else here plan on going to one gig but found it just wasn't enough??

I wasnt the hugest PRince fan in the world, but after a mate of mine came back from seeing him, I tagged along with him for his second time and my first time seeing the little man...and my god was it amazing. Straight after he went offstage i said, I have to go again!

Ironically, im going again on the 6th of Septmeber, and also had to pay over face value for a ticket, but you cant put a price on the time i'm gonna be having there!

Hopefully going on the last night as well, if i can score some decent lower tier seats...well i can dream!

I talked my dad into going down with me on the 24th(from Liverpool) and i will next come down with my brother!
I dont mind going to the actual gig alone but the drive down alone is a drag.

I will try to talk my mother into accompanying me next after my brother--fingers crossed!

I would be there for everyone if i could!

i 1st saw prince was i was 18 in the summer of 86, i only had tickets for 1 show at webley, biggest mistake i ever made, now i always book 4 multiple nights

Well it is very hard to see him only once, especially when you know he is in town for a while I saw him three times this year!.
Once in L.V in March, the main concert was happening at 3121 at the Rio Hotel and the venue was as small as the Indigo bar, what a treat!.
I went on the 14th & 24th of August to the main concert and aftershows.
I feel very lucky because he was performing on both aftershows and there were amazing.
It was also a chance to see again his amazing band and other artists such as Beverly Knight and Common. Every time I see him, I feel as excited as I used to be during Xmas time when I was a little girl.
I am trying to find a way to go back but tickets for concerts and aftershows get more and more expensive and of course I want a good seat.
I am more interested in the aftershows now as Prince can really be spontaneous and show even more his various talents.
If you have any spare aftershows tickets, send me an orgnote.

Its killing me sat at home in manchester reading the reviews of all those lucky fans going night after night !!!

I went on 18th to 02 and indigo which was amazing and need to go again however i do not drive work 38 hours a week on a childrens ward and have a 18m old son so its not so easy to convince my husband to take me back !!

why london and not manchester ??

Search around, because there are some sites listing tickets (great seats) for as little as £70. Yes, I know it s a LOT of money, but considering what some idiots charge.....

Anyway... hope everyone who's going again enjoys the show as much as the first time...

I'm addicted to these shows now, esp the aftershows. I've been to all bar a couple. The flu on Sat kept me in bed.....so so glad he didn't show for that aftershow.

I'm jealous because I'd love to go to an aftershow...

BUT an aftershow, for me, means booking more tickets, booking a hotel and booking more time off work..and then he probably won't show anyway!

If I just go to the concert I can travel back the same night and save me some money...Boring as it sounds, I don't have much!

But I would've loved to go..to at least one, anyway.
