28th Set List

This is my recollection of last nights (28th) setlist

Let's Go Crazy
1999
Take me with you
7
Come Together
Cream
U Got The Look
Musicology
Play that funky music
Funky London
What a Wonderful World
Diamonds and Pearls on Synth
The Beautiful Ones on Synth (Fab !!!)
Little Red Corvette on Synth
Raspberry Beret on Synth
Come On
Black Sweat
SOTT
Alphabet Street
When Doves Cry (most of it)
I Wanna be ure lover
Purple Rain
I feel 4 U
Controversy
Nothing Compares 2 U

I thought it was a good set list all in all. He played most tracks complete. Shame he missed out Guitar and When it Snows in April but other than that all good.

I Was in A1 and thought the sound was very tinny there. Was in row G though which was far enough back that we had a view of P pretty much the whole time. He didnt work the back of the stage much last night.
the guitar is the best instrument in the world!

Kiss was between Black Sweat and SOTT. Kiss going straight into SOTT was fantastic. He did a little tease after the first little bit, but then did a couple of verses. Oh - and Lolita was before Black Sweat.

Only disappointment from previous sets was no Sometimes It Snows In April. But was at the awesome aftershow, so can't complain!

I sat at the rear of the stage, lower tier, awesome seats and a great set, i was disappointed though because so many of the hit songs were strung together as medleys.

this is the 1st of 5 nights i'm seeing him though! great start.

He did one verse and chorus of When Doves Cry. Only I Wanna Be Your Lover and The Beautiful Ones were in full.

he done Kiss AND Lolita!?

I luckily saw him do Kiss at the 18th, but i would love for him to do Lolita! This was an amazing set list. Id like this one when i go again, but take out Nothing Compares 2 U, and put in Lets Go Crazy. Have 3121 as the opener and get Girls and Boys in there again!
I got more hits than Madonna's got kids!

September 22nd and counting ...yawn
man, he has such an amazing body of music that it's sad to see him constrict it down to the basics. he's too talented for the lineup he's doing. estelle 81

I must have missed Come On - did he really do it?

There was a snippet of Erotic City at some point.

Lolita was great.

Yup couldn't agree more! I think he sounded so humbled when back on stage as he dedicated it to us fans.

I thought last night's set list was excellent. I couldn't have asked for more considering it's the only show I am able to go to. It felt like Christmas and New Year rolled into one.

I was over the moon that 'Beautiful Ones' and the bit of 'SOTT' was snuck in.
