Here in the U.S., most people use a driver's license as their photo ID--the licenses are the size of a credit card. Please note: effective March 21, 2010, I've stepped down from my prince.org Moderator position. |

A GREAT time... Just that downer now knowing I'm sitting at home when there is a show going on less than 20 miles down the road Got in a 05:30 this am so probably not such a bad thing that I'm not going tonight! Will try and get tickets for tomorrow though. Sounds like we missed a fantastic 'soundcheck' today, but hey I got to say 'Hi' to Prince yesterday at the afterparty so won't complain!

They introduced the photo card size licenses here a while ago, but most people still have the old stle paper one (A4/Legal sized folded up). Many places still dont know what they are supposed to look like so dont take them as ID. Also they still have a paper 'counterpart' which you have to present if you want to hire a car or have to present to the Police. Bit of a waste of time really...

No, not on UK driving licences, the government has been playing around with the idea of national photo ID for a couple of years now. Everyone presumes it'll be an infringement of their freedom - wouldn't bother me though, unless you've something to hide I guess.
Anyhow, good to see everyone had a fantastic time last night! ..sharmone MF..!

how did you buy 'second hand' tickets? the whole 'ID' thing only applies to NPGMC member tickets (the ones bought through their website) coz you have to pick them up at the venue when you go in. [This message was edited Sun Oct 6 5:11:29 PDT 2002 by BorisFishpaw]
