Does the tube go to O2? Help! Which is the closest station to O2 by train?

When I was there he started quite late at 9.20 and finished at 10.50. We had plenty of time to get to North Greenwich (2 min walk) and we were lucky to be on the first tube out of there 
If you are coming from north of London adn don't want to have to drive all the way in then I have found that Stanmore is a good place to park up and get on the tube. Lots of parking and a direct line all the way to the O2. | |
