O2 Car Parking Tickets

I know when you book official Cra Parking at the O2 you need to put your Credit Card in the barrier to raise it but do they send any confirmation/ticket out or do you just have to travel all the way and have faith that there hasnt been an error.

I was worried 2. I purchased parking through Ticketgits and printed the details they do not send u anything so thought best 2 take proof with me. When U get 2 the O2 u put ur card in machine when u leave u have 2 put ur card in machine again, have no clue why shrug

[EDIT 2 Say]
Ticketgits charge u £22.30 for parking when I got 2 the O2 loads didnt purchase parking tickets they just paid through the machines.

Hi Katt

I'm thinking of taking my car to the O2 on 31/08 as I'm at the main gig and the aftershow, if I don't buy parking from ticketgits, how much is it on the night through the machines at the O2? is it by hour? i'm guessing I will be there from about 18:00 to 04:00 (fingers crossed if Prince plays tha aftershow!!!! )

The O2 concert parking (Car Park 1) was £20.00 thats what the signs said (Ticketgits charge u and extra £2.30). I was talking 2 others who said the Car park for the cinema (Carpark 4) was £10.00.

Just wondering if cinema car park will be open at 4am'ish after the aftershow ?

I've only been to the O2 by tube, anyone know what parking is like in the area? are there other carparks/places to park cheaper than £20 within walking distance from the O2 ?

We parked in carpark 4 on Tues 14th. No pre booked ticket, just turned up, got the ticket and paid when we left. We arrived around 8pm and left around 4am - and paid £5!!!!

Alternatively, the Express by Holiday Inn (at the island) is £3 for overnight and a 10 minute walk. You're supposed to be a resident at the hotel but they don't take your details so I dont' know how they'd know.

Carpark 4 sounds good, just had a vision that they would lock the carpark at 2am or something !!!!

I went to both last Friday (17th) and Saturday (18th) main and aftershow (17th -P no show, 18th - will go with me to my grave). We pre booked parking with TM for both nights. Got through barrier no problem on arrival, Just stuck the credit card we booked with in the machine and up went the barrier. On departure (3am-ish both nights) we had to push the HELP key on the intercom next to the barrier and explain we'd pre booked and please could they let us out. The attendant came back on the speaker "No Problem Sir" and the barrier went up. That was my experience. Hope its of some help.

I pre booked on the 1st, at £22.50 inc booking fee. What a rip off.

On Saturday I used the much more convienient car park 4 (For cinema users) and the it cost me £5!

Its nearer to the dome, and if you go out the way you cam in, you beat the traffic leaving car park 1.

Decided to drive to O2 on 31/08 as I have aftershow tickets and don't fancy getting/paying for a cab back to Islington at 3am after the aftershow.

Is there generally space on car park 4 the day of concerts? I think I will get there about 18:00
