Seat advice from you regular Prince concert goers I just moved to london and want to nab some tickets, but even though there's a lot of choice, the price tag matches as well! So any advice on where to focus on buying the seats? I've read a lot of everyone's comments on the forum and seems like block 106 or 107 is good, but what about the floor blocks, A1, B1, etc. Some people like these some don't, so what would you regulars choose if could have top pick?
Thanks | |

I'd say if you are only going to see one show or this is your first show I would recommend not going on the floor but first tier. you'll have a really good view of the show, the man, the lights and are not too far away. (106/107 definitely tops, but anything from 102 right through to 111 is good!) If you go more often then it's good to vary the viewpoint and get down and up close on the floor too, at least once! Yep I agree with above, I've been in higher tier(great for effect of lights and seeing the stage in full) lower tier(prob best view) got front row floor seats for 13th on TM yest(couldn't believe my eyes when it came up as I was sad after selling my tickets for last night due to ill friend, someone up there wants me to see Prince again lol!) so I will experience all of the options, lower tier will prob be best when I look back at the end, although I'm v.excited to seeing him so close on 13th

Thanks to you both. much obliged. I will try to go more than once to see the full experience as you say. does anyone know about the stage suites they are advertising. like a total rip off or something amazing. it looks like i missed out on aftershow tickets (but will keep looking), but is transport late at night a problem?

We loved row C in block 103. Great view. 110 opposite. Seemed closer as well. Both are great seats! http://www.myspace.com/savage1999uk

I can buy a ticket for the 1-9 main show. Can anyone please tell me if these are nice seats? I only know it's upper tier.

BK 420 Row r Seat 937 Cheers! Dennis Netherlands Dennis I sat in 418 Row B last Saturday. I had a good view from up above but did feel a bit removed from all the fun that was going on down in the closer seats below. The sound was good up there though. If you are at all afraid of heights then I wouldn't recommend sitting in the upper tier. It is very steep. When I stood up I felt like I might fall off and had to spent the whole night sitting in my seat.

I have one Aftershow ticket for Aug 31st (downstairs standing or Kings row) at face value - not sure that's the night you are interested in? Transport is not too bad late at night (i.e. after the Aftershow - after that main show very crowded I hear, and it takes ages to get on). There are night busses every half hour back into town (and from there anywhere else you want to go). I don't know anything about the stage suits, I'd be interested too what that is all about? Can anyone post? "John Bream, why you being fire-hydrant-head-looking..., you big seven eyed, Grover-from-Sesame-Street-looking… why you being dot dot dot?"
