Dates of gigs - 3121 Hi there,
As Prince seems obsessed with numerology, I was just thinking about the choice of the dates of his gigs. Have u seen that he's planned his last gig of August the 31st and his last gig of Sept. the 21st? Also, why didn't he played on the 21st Aug., which was a tuesday, whereas he's planned to play all other Aug. tuesdays? (maybe to play only once on the 31st and on the 21st, and finish the two months of his London residency on 3121) What do u think about my theory? Does that seem possible or am I just getting delirious? 
Well, I must say that since I'm going to the 31st, the only thing I'm interested in is knowing if he will do something special on these 2 nights, which can explain my interpretation...         [Edited 8/27/07 5:17am] | |

[Edited 8/27/07 5:17am] Think The Rolling stones played the 02 on the 21st so that could be why he didn't. Really hope you're right though, I'm going to 31st and aftershow. There was similar thread on here a few weeks ago about the 14th which was the 7th show- something like 3+1+2+1=7 therefore the 7th, 14th and 21st shows would be something special. I went on the 14th and thought it was fantastic but haven't been to any others yet so can't compare it but reviews on here of the main show and the aftershow sound like it was a pretty good one. Fingers crossed for a good 'un the 31st - either way, you just know it's going to great. Enjoy!!! | |

Well, I must recognize that my theory is not so strong... I didn't remember the Stones gig, but that's a good reason for not playing 
Someone here wrote that it could be the 7th, 14th and 21st shows that would be special. I must say I agree with that theory, since the 7th was said to be great. I'm a little annoyed cos if I'm not wrong, show number 14 will be on the 1st sept... Anyway, based on what I've read here since the 1st Aug., every show is great so I have no real fear... | |

I have been to one show so far on the 11th and going back again on september 16th (not a 7 in sight) but fear not it doesn't really matter how good a show any of the others were. Its more about how much you enjoy it. Personally i went mental danced the whole time and lost the plot at the beginning of evrey song. The bloke next to me stood with his arms folded all night. I bet my 11th show was far better than his.
So i think its more how much are we going to enjoy the show than how good is the show going to be! But it is still an interesting theory. | |

But I totally agree with you, and as I said, every show seems to be great. Moreover, since this will be my first Prince gig ever, I'm sure that it will be fantastic for me. By the way, I read some threads here on nights where the crowd wasn't as crazy as other nights. So, I think that the concert is better when the audience do its job, that surely make the singer wanna do a great show. | |

I thought that too. And he's playing the O2 for exactly 7 weeks. And we all know that 7 is an important number for P. (Of course, if he plays an aftershow on 21st Sep, it'll actually be the 22nd...) |
