its also worth chatting to people at the gig, if a few are going back into London, you could maybe share a cab into town from O2... post a blog on here about that aftershow date and ask if anyone wants to get cab after into town or going to Paddington too, might be quicker and more convenient then waiting about on streets.

take nightbus 188 from O2, then change busses at Waterloo (139 to Bondstreet, or around), from there many nightbusses to Paddington.
If you take the ferry, you must walk 15 minutes from Waterloo to the bridge where the busses stop to catch bus 139.

If you use cabs, only use the London Black Taxi with the orange light on top. Don't get into "minicabs" where some weirdo pulls up in a 15 year old Datsun and will charge you £30 to go anywhere.

If you want to book a taxi in advance, use a company called Addison Lee (see www.addisonlee.com). I've used them for years - big black people carriers, you can book online or over the phone and they text you when the car is on its way, when it arrives, the registration plate and the driver's number. They'll also tell you how much the trip will cost when you book it, so you don't get fleeced.

Enjoy London and be safe!

Is it so hard to be polite? one4allforever just wants you to turn the caps lock off. So please press the key that says ' Caps Lock' once and then never touch it again!

Thank you.

it is common not to use capslock. i do have a sense of humour but don't like being yelled at, even if you are telling a joke.
