i managed to score tickets for row c yesterday when they came on sale at lunchtime, and upped and went. i am only 19, and was already going 5 times, but the idea of being that close was irresistable. especially if he was to play the piano set again.

however, i felt the atmosphere on the ground was polluted by a number of things.

first up, there were a lot of drunk people. i dont mind this too much, but they did become distracting. especially when 2 argued with a steward over taking photos.

also, one drunk woman was trying to force her way forwards persistently, which became a real pain in the arse. especially as she was about 5 foot tall, and i knew she wouldnt have been able to see past row g.

the stewards were pretty hot on photos aswell, however i still managed to get a few sneaky snaps in during his piano set!!!

and i felt the seats were awfully close. i was fine as im pretty tall, but i was with shorter people who couldnt see him whenever he wandered around. though we did agree that when he came up close, it made it all worthwhile!

also, it didnt seem as loud, and not being able to see the screens was a shame. its nice to see his face when he's on the other side.

all that aside, and the fact that i felt he wasn't really in the mood that night, i have no regrets. only 31.21 per seat, a view i will struggle to ever get again, and the dawning realisation that i was metres away from penelope cruz and alicia keyes? it was a night i will remember for a long time!
