I have read loads of comments on last few shows and there have been alot of negative comments on Housequake,about the gig is so short,the setlist is boring or whatever.I am going to the gig on Friday and was so excited as I havent been since the 14th (which was fantasitc I thought),but now I feel a bit deflated and want to get as excited as before, especially as I'm taking on non fan of Prince and hae been telling her the 14th was my best gig ever!!...please peeps ,I need a boost!

folx with VIP tix got screwed including myself n it has cast a dark cloud over my experience of the other shows as i feel robbed n cheated...there r thousands of hard core prince fans that feel just the way i do....

btw....im usually a postive wolf...not a negative 1...but its prince/AEG/ticketbastards who r 2 blame as they fucked up...now with the remainder of the shows they r 2 late 2 fix the damage...this is my last prince tour 4 the 4seeable future...

im really sorry but im not going 2 say thank u with a smile after getting robbed of 240 quid and trated like shite rather then a VIP...folx can now get a front row seat 4 37 pounds the day of the concert...its just not fucking right....

As far as all the negativity and comments about boring setlists, shortish sets etc. at the end of the day, it's what you make of it on the night.

Go in determined to have a great, fun time and I'm sure you will. I'm sure your friend will enjoy themselves too. I hope so

I think a lot of the negativity is from those going to numerous nights and maybe feeling they aren't enjoying themselves as much as they thought they would. I am going to 21 shows/21 aftershow parties and yes some nights I have moaned a bit or had a whinge. That's down to me. It was my choice to buy tix for and go to so many shows. I think maybe, yes, dare i say it you can have too much of a good thing, even too much Prince

to be fair every single band/artiste does this numerous times throughout their career, announces that they are retiring the hits/certain songs after the current tour or even that they are never gonna tour again. A few examples: Bowie, Status Quo, Tina Turner. Next tour comes around and lo and behold their playing a lot of those same hits they said they weren't gonna do. It's nothing new and Prince is not unique. It's just another way to sell tickets.
