Just got back from quite a night at the o2. I took a girlfriend who's a wild party girl and she had never seen Prince before. We were in the front of A2 having a blast - she couldn't believe how close P was to us. He seemed to look right at us early in the show - I tend to jump up and down a lot, you know... Then during Musicology a bouncer came and asked my mate if she wanted to go on stage. (I was like, what about me? But seeing as how she sorta looks like Vanity circa 1982, I could see why...) I was watching her being led off when suddenly P came right over to the edge of the stage and threw his towel - directly to me. I was completely surprised - I guess it was my reward for my enthusiasm (I was the only one in my section that seemed to know all the words)! The folks around me were all surprised as well. When I gathered my wits about me I decided to stuff it in my bag so it wouldn't go missing! (of course I did take a whiff first - smelled like petuli or something... definitely Prince!)

I did think for a second - is this weird? Am I going to treasure a sweaty towel? Then I thought, heck yeah!
