Anybody refused entry to balcony last night 24th?

Hi

I had a 'balcony seated unreserved' ticket for last night's aftershow but I was refused entry on the grounds that the balcony was closed last night due to poor ticket sales!

I had a lengthy argument with 2 officials during which I pointed out that I specifically bought a seated ticket because I couldn't stand for 2 hours due to ill health - especially after the main show. However, they refused to budge and the best they could offer me was a chair downstairs off to the right of the stage - which I reluctantly accepted. Couldn't see Prince unless I stood up and had a constant procession of people walking in front of me to go to the loos - aargh!

I appreciate how lucky I was to be there on a night that Prince played but I didn't feel part of the show. I have balcony seated for tonight's show too and was warned that the same thing is likely to happen.

Anybody else in the same boat? Did you manage to get upstairs?

how annoying as some of them sold out on TM yet not full when you get there, sorry what they offered you, as it was ill health they should have put your chair in Kings Row, not in the standing area! smile
