Thames Clipper Well am finally home at 2am and have had my night ruined by the Thames Clipper from Hell, we had to queue for 1 and half hours and then it took ages and I still cannot believe how rude the woman was working on there she actually mocked my friend when we dared to ask why we had had to wait for so long. I am absolutely exhausted and felt really unsafe wandering around Waterloo and then Clapham Junction at 1.30 in the morning and then had to get a taxi from Clapham. I would seriously not get the Thames Clipper if you are only going to the main show - you have been warned oh and we had return tickets

I'm so sorry you had a bad experience but I had a good one on there and would recomend it but not as an after thought when the show ends...We got a return ticket on the 11th and we had no trouble at all...It was grand and I am booking VIP tickets on there for myself and my 21 year old son for the 12th...I got the tube home tonight and it was well quiet, everyone must have took the boat... honesty is the best policy...

Was hell on earth last night. Took me 3 hours to get home for a journey that should take no more then 30 minutes! This was the first show ive been to without going to the aftershow - NEVER AGAIN! Got home pretty much the same time as if I had been to the Aftershow.
Alltogether getting to 02 cost me nearly £20 last night. £2.50 tube going there, £4 Clipper and then i had to get a taxi which cost £15 from waterloo as the tubes had stopped. Rubbish service last night! Spent more time lining up then Prince was actually on stage for. frarnie said: ShellyBean said: Well am finally home at 2am and have had my night ruined by the Thames Clipper from Hell, we had to queue for 1 and half hours and then it took ages and I still cannot believe how rude the woman was working on there she actually mocked my friend when we dared to ask why we had had to wait for so long. Hi there I know I think we were just very unlucky and yes last time I got the tube with no problems at all, thank you gavki for that I thought I was going mad and imagining the nightmare that was getting home last night, sounds like your's was even worse than mine, I was so looking forward to the boat as well, I still want to go to an aftershow but at least at that time of night you know you are going to be heading for a night bus and and also you won't care cause you'll have had a fabulous night but yes the show finished about 10.35!! yep that is exactly what we thought Prince was on stage for less time than we qued for. I am going to write and complain to the Clipper people least they can do is give us a free ride and the taxi fare Still love Prince but could go off the Dome

I have my VIP experience with them messed cocked right up, but complained and have got free VIP for the another date to hopefully carry me back from the aftershow. The Q jump is cool though, the Q was huge and you walk right on by and get to sit in a waiting room, then you are first on. Worth probably paying just so your guranteed to get on and not stuck in a Q.

if you book the VIP experience
how do you do it ? do you have to specify what time boat you want to go on and return on and stick to these times on the night ? if so what times do you think best to book ? thanks

Eek, sounds like you had a bad experience.
I used the VIP service on opening night Aug 1st (OMG, its already 4wks since i saw him ) anyway, the service was great... boat was about 15mins late going to the O2 but didn't matter really, we had lots of time. Priority boarding, champagne etc because of the VIP. Then on the way back the boat was waiting when the concert finished (we didn't hang around for a drink after) and got on right away, they even played prince through the stereo which was funky hehe. Maybe you should complain to them and see what they say.
