Hi, we've been and the seats were good, great view. But you can't help thinking it would be good to be in the thick of things - front stage standing.

We were at the front of the balcony to the left. You could see him when he was off stage to the left. The view is good you can see the man and all the band, but make sure you get to the front seats. If u're seated left, as we were, you miss a bit of the drums but can see Renato and all the keys. And.... before going on stage he was up in the balcony standing behind us!

Great night

Hope he shows for u, when were you going?

lol

Going to my 2nd main show on 31st-6 days and counting! I'm taking a non-prince fan this time who I know is going to love it, hoping I can drag her (in the nicest way) to the aftershow but there's only balcony seats left. Think I'll get them.

Had tickets for aftershow on 14th but couldn't go as had to get back for work - sounds like we missed a really good night.

Hope he shows, he seems to be doing the friday night ones and IF chaka khan is supporting surely he'll turn up?!

We were in Kings Row last night and the whole of the balcony seating area behind it was closed off. They were not letting people up there and had hung curtains from the ceiling to cover it. People who had bought balcony seats were sent into the standing area downstairs. A balcony seat does not guarantee a balcony seat apparently! Just a friendly warning to you all.

Bensonrad

Is that safe, surely they can only have a limited number or people standing (or packed in downstairs)

Yeah, there's another post on here about that. Not bothered if can't get on the balcony, just want to be in there.

So the aftershows aren't even coming close to selling out?

Loads of people queued up and bought tickets before going in. From where I was sitting there seemed to be a lot of room at the back downstairs so I don't think they are sold out. Strange, because when I looked at TM yesterday, the aftershows weren't there so I assumed they were sold out. Maybe people who have bought tickets are not turning up as they think he won't show - especially on Fridays with another show on Saturday.
