I walked in thru the out door ... how were themembers treated..
great ... you'll read in other threads about the problems with whether or not the seats were allocated. In fairness, none of us expected them to be allocated when we turned up, so I don't really see what the problem was. Although, maybe I would've seen it differently if I'd been allocated the first 6 rows and then decided to stay in the bar for a drink, thinking I'd got a seat safely saved. But all seats were great, so it shouldn't have really been a problem for anyone. how did you get your tickets
some people queued at the venue, I didn't. Just walked through the door to the box office, where there were three queues, with letters for different surnames. All we did was stand in the right queue and wait to be served. Then we got given an envelope which had an NPGMC laminate in it. After that we walked to another door and got a wristband put on. Then we were in. Did you have to queue for hours
etc. Not at all. Just turned up around 30/40 minutes after the doors opened. Queued inside, waiting for my envelope for a total of around 5-10 mins. The largest queue was because we got held in the lobby before the soundcheck. Again I didn't bother to queue. Just went off and got a drink and sat down until the queue had died down. Missed part of the soundcheck, but then so did other people who'd queued. If they keep you waiting in the lobby at Hammersmith, the best place to be is upstairs. Because although the doors remain closed downstairs, upstairs they keep the doors open, so although you can't see anything, you can hear what's happening. There's also a bar upstairs and seats and it's far less crowded.

if you started to queue before about 3pm there was a guy who did a great job in getting a line organised for members, so it didn't turn into a massive great bundle...
then we just filed in, very sensibly and then the shambles began!!!
