Religious content? From the first reports I've read now it appears as it the religious content of the show has become less in comparison with ONA in the USA.
Or did he preach a lot during the Ladder? (GREAT INCLUSION!) Eelco

It seems like Prince is doing the right thing with this European tour. He's still focusing on plenty of new material but also giving another side to himself. It seems like a good balance like the Lovesexy shows. Some of the songs like Let's Pretend We're Married aren't what you'd expect from the new Prince. I like that.

There was, surprisingly, very little in the way of religious overtones. In fact, the most overt it got was in the build-up to "1+1+1=3" where he was sing about the theocratic order and then saying to the crowd "London, you don't even know what a theocratic order is - do you know what it is?...(quite a pause)...This is a pretty building London, but it ain't gonna look the same once I'm done tearing it up!" and that really was about it. All the other political/social references that Prince made were exactly that, mainly focussing on media and race relations and were poignant, amusing and, for once, something the crowd could actually relate to and identify with. It was the most sane and wildest performance I have ever seen! ...we have only scratched the surface of what the mind can do...
