I've been thinking.....

You're a modern music hero to many, playing a residency in the greatest city in the world. The population know you're here, the press know you're here, pretty much everyone knows you're here

You're unique in the way you carry yourself and the way you present yourself and despite your size, stand out in the crowd.

So what does he do on his days off. I just cant see him like most tourists taking the sites on an open top bus, having lunch at Garfunkels then heading down the Trocadero.

Nor can I see him at the Tate modern, shopping at Selfridges and then wizzing round Madamme Tussauds.

So....any ideas? What does a man like Prince do when in London from July to September? He cant just lock himself away watching pay per view and ordering room service.....can he?

Have there been any sightings? I know he went to see Matt Damon, and visited Ronnie Scotts in July. Where else has he been?

Lets give the man some ideas of things to do. (he's always welcome round mine for dinner, I don't serve ribs!)

I think he sits in his room watching the Big Brother live feed.

In years gone by Prince often used to spend his "days off" working in a studio recording new songs! However, I get the impression he is slowing down (I guess he is 49 after all). So he's probably just chilling!

he and the band hired the london eye on the 16th of august...there was tight security there and he was in disguise along with the twinz..matt damon was there with his daughter also....apart from that he is staying in the top floor at the dorchester with shiela e...its confirmed right here folx...shiela e is his new girlfriend.....

Think he was spotted at a Mike Phillips gig at the Pigale near Picadilly yest, not performing but attending...

He should be with Sheila E, me and friend were talking about that after Sat's aftershow saying hes got his music, nice if he had love, and we're into starsigns and he and Sheila E are opposites which is always an electric attraction and meeting of minds

I've wondered the samething... So, here's my suggestion (for Prince or anyone else that's from out of town), and P, if you need a guide who isn't gonna get all weird on you...

Of course, East London is where it's happening. So here's a list of things to do on a Sunday...

Start the day wandering through Columbia Rd. flower market (no idea how Prince could 'wander' anywhere, but I ain't security, just tour-guide), which is great, especially at 8am.

Recurperate with a good English fry-up. Maybe not your regular caf, (Pelicci's on Bethnal Green Rd. is amazing, wood panelled interior), but somewhere suitably cool like... Bistrotheque in Hackney.

Then I think it would be cool to take a look at Tate Modern, it's gotta be done really. And whilst in the part of town, book a whole pod on the London Eye and survey the Princedom. But if he's already done it... Ah, the V&A museum is amazing, beautiful, and it's pretty near the Dorchester.

Then what, row a boat across the Serpentine in Hyde Park. Go bowling at All Star Lanes in Bloomsbury (private lane).

Then finish up with some home cooking and a Prince karaoke round my house! Damn, forgot Dim Sum, Burgers at The Ivy, cocktails at The Lanesborough... the list goes on...

Right, that's my weekend planned...!

p.s I thought about that and how it would be tough doing stuff with the paps about everywhere, if I was him I'd go and visit places in Britain on his days off. Get away from the madness of London and experience say Brighton or even Scotland if he flew... and he could nip to Paris for a few days(I would!)

Oh I do know the Sunday before his gigs started he was in Twickenham at a Jehovah's Witness convention on bible study, my mate(always been a JW) had gone the Sat and was gutted when she found out he went the Sun!!

He could wear an outfit like at the beg of 'The One' or in the 'Come On' vid!, he could go in disguise if he really tried, I can't help but think he got out and about town might give him some more lyric ideas

Well theres clearly a bit of rehersal going on coz of the sheer volume of material & alterations that go in2 the shows & aftershows.
I would say at least a few minutes would be taken up with that!

I'd go along with this, the aftershow on saturday had to have been rehearsed...there is obviously a lot of jamming, but the horns for superstition etc...to tight to have been the first time...and a love bizarre was really tight, and very different to in the shows....could be why they were a bit late starting the saturday show too

i'd bet they rehearse 6 days a week

I asked Mr. Hayes what he does all day out there, he said he "practically lives at the O2". So I assume there's a lot of rehearsing going on.

He plays air guitar on his Wii?

I saw him at Kew Gardens the day after I saw him, talking to some pensioners about begonias.
