Saw Prince at the O2 last night

Was in tears for first 10 mins... don't know why? (cried when i saw him twelve years ago in Manchester (i'm 38 year old hairy arsed man by the way)

He ripped the roof off!

went to the aftershow party..

He did 2 hours of pure funk and if i die tomorrow i will be a happy man...

learn to work the toilet seat!

Hey dude,

Its ok for grown men to cry I think you, me and a few others experienced the same 'surreal, spiritual feeling' from that afterparty. I wanted to cry I was just in such a happy space and time. Funny that I said exactly the same thing 'If I died tomorrow I would be a happy woman' swear to god. How weird! Its hard to explain, but I felt the funk, the love and its Monday now and I'm still on a high from that night. I got to touch his leg as he stood on the left (our crowd left) of the stage. High fived Shelby and Marva. I'm never going to forget that night.

It's hard to explain to non Prince fans how you feel.

It was a revelation seeing Prince and the band at the aftershow so close up,

after all the years (20+) of dreaming and watching video/dvd footage of the

master at work. I felt like he was playing just for me and i wanted to

shout "it's me, don't you recognise me?" ha ha.

It's strange how you can be in a crowd, but on your own.

Wierd i know, but there you go.

Cried all way through purple rain at concert on 17th! My 16 yr old daughter v. embarrassed but hey thats what mums r 4! Still brings tears to my eyes just thinkin about it- didnt expect to get so emotional but his music has been such an important part of my life since i was 12 years old!!!!

I know exactly how you feel, Apart from my friend who I was with ,I was surrounded by drunken idiots and when Prince stood at the point of the symbol where I was ,he looked at us all and I just wanted him to look at me and no'one else & had a 'dont you realise ,no'one else loves you like I do!!' attitude. I think it's so cool for a grown man to admit that he gets emotional when he sees someone that he's loved all this time. I must say, I get emotional as well when I'm seeing Prince, Stevie, etc... it's amazing! Last time I saw him (at the Rio in Las Vegas), it was nuts... I laughed, cried, danced my ass off, HIGH FIVED PRINCE! etc...

I'll cry if he plays Let's Go Crazy again. It was awful Where are Wendy and Lisa when you really need them...?

i'm glad i'm not the only one...i cried (not just a tear or two, but proper sobbing) through purple rain on 17 aug...my boyfriend was slightly bewildered...but i feel like crying when i think about it! am i going mad?

I think we should ask The Priory to book a big purple room for all of the orgers from 22nd September onwards, I think the downer that we are all going to feel after the last nite will be huge
