Drinks in Indigo?

I was just wondering if anyone could give me an idea of how much the drinks are in Indigo?

I thought it was very reasonable - I bought a cider a glass of wine and a vodka and coke and a vodka tonic and it came to about £12 - bargain !!
I thought it may be a mistake but then I went back and bought some other drinks and they were just as cheap.

I did double vodka with Redbull. It was 7 or 7.50. I found that to be quite reasonable for the venue.

I did have some tap water. Priced right at FREE. I only had 3 drinks over both nights. How many doubles does a person need?!?! I think my total drink cost was 22quid for 2 nights.

Not really to do with inside the Indigo but...

last week i was waiting in line for the Indigo outside..

and i was so so thirsty! Been screaming and singing all night so y'know...parched! hehe

So i said to the people i was waiting in line with..just going to get some water i'm dying and they were like ok we'll watch your space.

I went to a lady in the 02 and said where's the best place to get some water and she was like jst any of the bars.. I looked around and the place was heaving, with people queing up to get in all the bars.. at this point i felt like i was in the desert! Really dehydrated so i looked around and decided to go into that thai place jst across from the indigo.. again bar was packed! I called this waiter and said please i need some water to take my medication wink please help! He was like ok. I waited and he came back with two bottles of water..I was like ah good.

£12.00 he charged me!!! eek eek eek

JEES... anyway i got my water and i also got a very good show at the Indigo!! The one with Beverly Night and P!!! Best night of my life!!! hehe

anyway..sorry for rambling lol biggrin x

£12 for water? He was probably pocketing some of that.

Just a hint to people Re: Water. Buy some Buxton bottles of your own beforehand and keep the caps to take in with you. The same size also works on Marks & Spencer 500ml bottles. Then you can stock up before the show inside and keep them with you without fear of spilling them.

I still don't understand the "safety" rule of not allowing you to buya plastic bottle of drink and keep the cap. I've had my bottles knocked over a couple of times by irritating people coming and going during the concerts.

Us too - Genius! I read a small little post with that gem of a tip on it and remembered and it's a good job too!

It did make me roll my eyes when, having just had my plastic bottle cap confiscated in the name of 'Health & Safety' and then I saw someone come into the arena with a bottle of Smirnoff Ice...
I'm not stopping. I haven't even taken my coat off

The reason for the cap removal is so you can't fill the bottle and then throw it. Obviously it's heavier and more dangerous when full. I only know this because I'm a steward at Liverpool Football Club.

Wow. What moron would do that? I'm thinking that's only necessary at sports events and outdoor festivals.

Besides, isn't it more fun to refill it and throw without the cap on? I'm thinking of the urine incidents for 50 Cent and Daphne & Celeste biggrin

Thanks for the post about the bottle lids, I was wondering what size would fit them, Had a pisshead knock over our water during the gig, there was no way I was going out to buy some more and miss a second of prince though. I shall have to bring some lids with me for 21st Sept.

i thought the prices in the indigo (and the O2) were very reasonable considering how much some places charge
