I am heading back over to London for another show on the 16th September and Rumour has it according to her website that Beverley Knight will be supporting again.

I was the the August 11th Show and witnessed DJ man boobs at the worst aftershow yet. I came from Dublin to go to the show and was only going to go once but thought i should give it another shot.

Do you think Beverley will entice Prince to the aftershow?

I too was there on the 11th - enjoyed DJ Man Boobs actually as i liked the music - danced like a loon all night
Also back on the 16th - I cannot hope for another aftershow like the 18th (it was unbelievable) but given the fact that there are no dates before or after I am hopeful he may show
Fingers crossed - come say hi if you see me - no doubt I will be wearing a hat of some type (last time was a black trilby- time after a brown one) - and dancing badly but with lots of enthusiasm lol

We were all hanging around the bar on the 11th. The DJ was very unapproachable (maybe his boobs were tender)

Highlight of the aftershow was Tony TNT Dancing the bit out!!

Its also irritating to me how so many on this board are acting as if she is the definitive supporting act to Prince, or how only she can 'persuade' Prince to perform in the aftershow etc.. She did nothing 'legendary' with him, any Prince fan can vouch for that.
The reason why I made comments such as 'feeding her ego' and 'delusions of grandeur' is because of the attitude this woman has had for years. For years she has been acting as if she has the greatest voice in the UK and that just because she can hold a note she is owed attention and greater success. It isn’t like that in the music business, many people can sing but (and I hate to use a cliché) few have that 'X-factor'. Beverley doesn’t.
Don’t get me wrong, Shes competent at what she does, but she isn’t anything special for it.

Its not that i think she has any particular powers of persuasion, it just seems to be that if there is someone else playing prince seems to show up.

I have never heard Beverley before and i'm not that excited at the prospect but any live music is better than DJ man boobs! I would much prefer a 2 hour prince show followed by at 2 hour aftershow with just price. But hey if a loud female voice will help in anyway i'm more than happy to listen.
