Just a Few Thoughts on the Prince Summer Hi everyone. I have been a life long fan of prince and have sometimes bordered on the obsessive side! I have never really felt the need to register with any fan site but felt like doing so just to share some of my thoughts on Princes shows at the O2.
Firstly, I LOVED every single show I have been to. I have sat on the upper tiers as well as floor seats (was lucky enough to get front row seats on block c2 last sat and could smell the guy!!). I don't care how long he plays for as its still wicked. Also I was at last saturdays aftershow which was too funky! I dont care what he does as its still so cool. People should stop moaning about him not turning up etc etc as it does not say that he will play and you don't expect the guy to do it every night. Funny story from last saturday show was when prince came right to the front of the stage, a guy went right up to him and raised his hand up to prince for a hi five. Prince gave him a hi five! That was crazy!Did anyone see it? Secondly, as most will agree, Ticketmaster messed up big time. Real fans either get shitty seats at normal prices, pay top whack for tickets, or take the risk of waiting until the last minute. I suggest a test question about prince be asked to anyone wishing to buy tickets to check if they are real fans! I now need some help. I have tickets for the main show but none for aftershow. I would be willing to exchange my tickets for aftershow tickets. Anyone interested? If not, then what do people think about the chance of getting aftershow tickets on the day. Or should i just buy them from some arse on e-bay for the inflated prices? Stay funky everyone. | |

Hi there, nice sentiments, thanks for posting.
Re. Aftershows , which night are you referring to? Some are still available through Ticketmaster right now, aren't they? The nights I went to the main show, they have always still been available right on the night too. This is something I feel you can decide on spontaneously (if you have the luxury to live close by). What I do is go to the ticket desk at the O2 b4 the show on the nights when I'm there anyway to see the main show and buy aftershow tix for the future shows I've since decided to go to. So far they have always been available and you save on "delivery" charge. Of course there is a risk but hey, what's life without risk. P.S. Are you off the London news? Sorry about that but I like the thought of Assad Ahmed off the news being a Prince fan and getting down! That would be cool. Have been seeing quite a few Asian guys at the shows, the Aftershows specifically (quite cutes ones too!). Anyway, I wouldn't fork out those eBay prices for the last night. They do become available on TM every now and then and people post it here as an alert. Also, there was a thread that said there may well be some available on the night. They keep some back or something. Good luck (you and me, both!)
