Is it possible that Ron Wood will join Prince on stage like he did in 1986 and 1988? The Stones will play at the O2 on the 23rd and 26th of august and Prince on the 24th and 25th, so they all will be there at the same time! Don't forget, that he even was the support act for the Stones back in 1981 (he probably doesn't want to be reminded ) . Maybe at least at one of those aftershows...?

I bought ticket for the 24th in the hope that their paths would cross, but I'm learning not to expect too much now (to avoid disappointment). It would be great if they did, but on one hand will they want to repeat history? I'm surprised that not many musicians (outside his circle and support)have taken up the offer of jamming with him. I think it would just add to the excitement.

I really hope not !!! Have you seen the Stones play live recently ?! They are a total shambles instrumentally and vocally. They should really learn know when to stop, they cant handle large performances anymore.

well prince called keith richards up an hour before the koko show to ask him to jam with him. the stones play thursday and sunday at the o2, and no shows on friday and saturday when prince is playing, so i would imagine one of them appearing at the aftershow, but more likely on saturday as common plays friday so i guess the aftershow on friday will feature common, and hopefully kayne as he is in the uk right now (doing a secret gig in london tonite)
