No. The band played without Prince.

Purely speculation on my part... but I'd say there's a very good chance of Prince showing up for tomorrow's aftershow.

Prince didn't show up at the aftershow...
However I personally enjoyed it... The band jammed... Doing solos here and there Mike Philly, Maceo P , etc etc... Good vocal from Shelby J she did Krazy (Gnarls) the band did a jazzed up Bob Marley Get up stand up! Then Mya came on and her band... They jammed with 'the band'...

Mya did the support act... She's ok... but god her dancers need shooting! They were so out of sync and all over... But performed better in aftershow than at main venue...

Tempted to get tix 4 2moro...aftershow...hmmmmm....

Yeh I thought 2night was great. The brass guys r on fire (as is CC). Very entertaining show. The NPG deffo held their own, I didn't even really miss Prince.
...& I liked the looks Mya was giving me, think I might b on2 sumthin there!

no prince last night, but a good night out anyway.

NPG were superb and shelby came out into the crowd

so tempted to get tickets for another night, but I don't think my poor heart can cope with too much more excitement!

Prince was there, but left before the NPG came on stage. It was great to just watch the band for a change, although I wouldn't have complained if Prince had come on.

The show started at 1.20am with Prince's band performing for an hour.Then Mya came on and sang a couple of numbers.The show finished at 3am and everybody got told 2 leave.
Im not going 2 start moaning about Prince not showing up but i was very disappointed.This was my first(and prob last)aftershow experience and it wouldve been amazing 2 c him so close up!
But i'll 4give the little fella.He was out of this world @ the main concert.

I think that is the key to the aftershows to just enjoy urself whatever and it appears all of the shows have quality entertainment anyway

I was there friday and must say I was extremely disappointed that Prince didn't show up. Sure, the website said there was no guarentee he would come, but I figured: Prince wouldn't let so many fans, who spend such an awful lot of time and money to get to London to see him, down now would he. Well, in my book, he let us down bigtime

Although the main show was a fantastic show of pure raw energy, I could help but feel sad at the end of the night. Somewhat like a coitus interruptus.

I'm afaight this is the last change I got to see him in an aftershow. This is rot, guys....

if you dont wanna be disappointed dont risk the aftershows sure you might get nothing but you could always get an amazing show in my opinion it is worth the risk

The official reason for Prince not showing up on the 17th August Aftershow was that he needed to have a night off to ....count his $$$$$.

I was personally upset that he didn`t show as I've always wanted to see an aftershow and not had any luck! ( I remember being conned out of "aftershow" tickets years ago by a "fan" club called controversy-does anyone else remember this?- turned into police fraud investigation). BUT I knew I was taking a risk. However, the main show on Friday was amazing...one of the best Prince concerts I`ve been lucky to experience!
It`s a shame he didnt show...some people had travelled from Holland.. especially after now reading the reviews of the Sat aftershow..but it was good to see the band.The signs were good to start with but It soon became clear that things weren.t right.A big Hi to the guy behind me and my friends who walked out with us..he helped me put it into context and Im just going to keep trying!! It`s the risk you take! I just wish we could have been told a bit sooner he wasn't coming on.
