question re: DOW at the soundcheck did he sing it? did he say the line about "all you sorry americans"? or did he sing something else? just wonderin', no big deal.
man i would KILL to hear empty room AND the ladder. glad y'all enjoyed yourselves. No confusion, no tears. No enemies, no fear. No sorrow, no pain. No ball, no chain.

Odder still it`s one of the few songs with profanities in that I thought were unnecessary , yet I still did a double take at the new lyrics. ***IF YOU TELL ME TO WALK A STRAIGHT LINE***

No one is perfect, or no country. I can't believe he would say it, in what context? It was probably a mis-understanding. right? DOW is one of my favorites, because it depicts just that "These are the Days of Wild", all over the world. Just as he did in "Sign of the Times". He plays the DOW with so much emotion, especially the guitar solo.

I think a lot of Americans have a healthy appreciation of some of the absurdities of our culture, including the frequent lack of substance therein, so I *can* believe he'd say that. And I'd chuckle.

Doves, Mel!ssa --- ECHO SAYS: YES - I for one have a healthy NON-appreciation of the MANY ABSURDITIES NONSENSE FOOLISHNESS PREPOSTEROUS LACK OF GOOD JUDGEMENT THAT HAS GONE ON ALL OVER THE WORLD - THIS IS NOT A PERFECT WORLD! THIS IS WAS WHAT I WAS REFERRING TO... I was ONLY SAYING that I COULD NOT believe that Prince would say "silly Americans" when HE IS AN AMERICAN himself. I DID NOT BELIEVE IT, AND I wanted TO know THE CONTEXT! THAT IS ALL...SO IF YOU KNOW OR ANYONE ELSE, PLEASE TELL ME!
