I don't get 3121.com's request not to host unofficial pics from the O2 concerts. There are now posts on the Org that have had the photos stripped out of them. This is just silly. Any of us can go to Flickr or Google Images or any other number of places and look at photo's to ouyr heart's content (as I did before my first O2 gig).

Why on earth would 3121.com request this kind of censorship when, apart from anything else, it makes no sense?

Even if the Org, Housequake and everyone else decides to deprive members (who are mostly the most dedicated fans) of all their photos, they'll still be available from the biggest website in the world, Google!

Prince has a complex about not looking good and can't censor those sites, but can here?

I'd love to know the real reason why it matters to Prince, especially when no money is being made from their use. It just seems crazy to me but then again, so do a lot of the things he does.

I love his music and his shows but he does act like a bit of a wally over some things.

I suspect that several hundred flashbulbs going off in your face is somewhat distracting and possibly damaging to your eyes.

I further suspect that having less places to display photos is supposed to discourage people from taking then...

Then ban flash photography, like they do in art galleries. Even my basic Nokia phone can take decent night time photos with no flash.

I really love Prince's music and his live shows are second to none, but this kind of silliness just annoys people. That said, he's free to ask I suppose. Roll on 21 September - got my lower tier seats sorted!
