I'm not into dancing. I just want to relax and enjoy seeing Prince do his thing, listen to some awesome music. I can jump around like an idiot in the privacy of my own home any time I want if I really want to.

I was there on tuesday on my own. I was seated between two middle aged women on the very top tier.
I was on my feet the whole time, so much so the two women had 2 follow me & so did most, if not ALL of my section.
Even when Prince ordered us 2 jump, I did & nearly jumped off the balcony by accident when I landed on the edge of my row (scary 4 a moment) but I think u gotta do what ur body tells u.
I also jumped & went a lil crazy @ the aftershow, stamping on many a persons feet (sorry everybody), I know that wud equal a death sentense @ many a club I frequent - glad the Prince fans r a lil more tolerant.

Catch every1 friday (2day) whoever's down there!

I was at the 4th show as well. When Prince came on stage I jumped up danced sang and screamed Iwas the only one in my row the rest of them just looked at me. We bought tickets on the 1st day of relese n couldn't get 2 2gether so my husband was in the 4th section and I was in the 1st.After guiatar we got 2 gether down to row 2 as there was 2 empty seats with excellent views. How did non prince fans get 4 seats 2gether when we had to get seperate seats. The ones in the golden circle only seemed to be bother about the bar and true fans have to sit behind them.At the bus stop after the show 1 girl said she had free front row seats through her business and 1 man got a box as he new the promoter the real fans who new every song and never complain should have 1st chance.

I can understand that some people just don't like dancing or even can't dance. It must be difficult for them if they just have to stand still for two hours, but what I don't get is people who just sit (although I didn't see any of them at the O2 - have in the past).

Sitting and listening to music is great if it's classical, but for me Prince music is for dancing to. I went into training for the Tuesday concert - 3 hour dance workshop last Saturday, 12 mile walk on Sunday and an seat next to the aisle on Tuesday. Some of us just have to dance.

Imagine Prince going to the London Proms. It wouldn't surprise me if he went. Waving the Union Jack, jumping up and down, and singing Rule Brittania (but I think he doing a concert on the Last Night of the Proms, otherwise he would have been there).

That reminds me of a gig I went to on the Gold Experience tour, I had restricted view seats so all you could really do was dance, the whole place was on it's feet, except the guy sat behind me who kept tapping me on the shoulder asking me to sit down as he couldn't see! and that he had paid for a seat, then started to threaten me right it to my ear.

He even complained to the stewards and everything (who must of said there is nothing they can do), really spoilt the experience and I didn't stick up for myself as I was a lot younger and less confident, so I sat down and I couldn't see anything and had a crap night, "but that was then and this is NOW!"

Hold on to your wigs!

And if anyone gives you grief for having a good time at a Prince gig, tell them.....well you know the rest!

To dance or not to dance? Reply dress to the Nines and dance your arses off!! Was at the fantastic show on 14th August and danced all time - how people around me could stay seated with 1999 as an opener just made me purple!!! Get up, dance and enjoy the groove. Can't wait to the next shows for me on 24th and 25th and I'll be dancing my arse off again too!!! Enjoy everybody whether you choose to dance or not. DANCE, dance DANCE!!!
Don't go to the concerts in Jeans and t-shirts!! Dress to the Nines!

I was there 2night & I nearly did it again. When he called 4 us 2 jump, I did (like a mad b-ball player) but I made the mistake of looking down (i was on row p of tier 4) & I nearly jumped off my row again.

Golden rule 4 jumpers... Don't look down, just jump!

Thats another thing when I was there on the 4th me and my sister has really dressed up I mean I had spent hours sewing white buttons onto black trousers and black top just so I had mad an attempt to have a suit like prince used to wear with purple ribbons on my bag and purple shoes and my sister had had a tattoo done of the prince symbol on her back so she wore a backless dress with purple and gold shoes and purple belt and bag, but it seemed everyone we could see looked like they were going cinema, we were a bit shocked as a few years ago when we used to go and see price you would see men dressed as prince in zoot suits and really dressed up ladies, still it has not put us off I have bought about 10 differant outfits to choose from in a range of purple , gold I love him and nothing can stop me. razz

Depends where you are. If you are in the top tier its not so easy to dance.

Get yourself some floor seats and you will dance all night. Its a totally different atmosphere down there and makes the gig 100x better (if thats possible!!).

I even like Black Sweat down on the floor smile

i noticed on the 10th the section i was on at the top tier everyone was up and dancing right away as soon as the band walked out, but as u looked across they were all sitting! whats up with that i mean really! get up n dance!

Chance would be a fine thing - the guy to my left brought a hold-all and teh woman to my right decided she prefered to stand across my seat.

I made up my mind before going that I was just gonna sing and dance my ass off whatever. I wasn't gonna let other people looking at me a bit funny stop me from enjoying myself as I'd waited too long to see Prince since the last tour. Will be going with the same attitude on the 31st, so if you notice a crazy dancer in block 112, that'll be me!!!

I've never been able to dance. I just haven't got the rythmn (?!) in me. But on the 17th I was moving non stop and then suddenly half way through I felt myself actually dancing. Prince taught me to dance ! He put the groove right in me. There'll be no stopping me on the 6th now. So maybe I still look silly, but we can't all be perfect ! No ones looking anyway, Everyone's looking at Prince.
