DO YOU KNOW WHAT MAKES YOU A PRINCE FAN?

smile Driving home from the office Scandalous played on my MP3 player. These last couple of weeks I have been upset and disappointed with all the mither over tickets and seats at the concerts but listening to that track made me realise that I love the music Prince plays and have done for more than 20 years. I itend to enjoy the rest of the concerts I am going to because I know when Prince returns home we are all going to miss him. Hope all his real fans feel the same.

I went last tues with a GF cos my hub (who is the hugest P fan ever couldn't make it at the last mo) (hence this fri VIP tickets cos I couldn't not let him see him!). Anyway, we had the best time ever. We were sat next to 2 oz girls who funked away. B2 row H was fab. all these people moaning about sound - pls get real - he commands the stage and has you in the palm of his hand. whether you're far out and see the whole stag with great sound or are close up and lose a bit of quality - WHO CARES??? So what if you don't make it up on the stage - just enjoy the night... I haven't seen him for years and have been waiting for months for this. I so can't wait to go with my gorgeous man and just enjoy the whole thing. Please please please can people stop moaning and just enjoy every night as it comes ... it may be a long long while before we get to see him in action again. RELAX AND ENJOY. lol

I was thinking this to myself just the other day. What is the point of moaning about the ticket fiasco. The positive on this is I have been fortunate enough to get a ticket to see Prince perform again and leave the arena with such a GOOD feeling inside of me. No one can take this away from me.I, too have enjoyed his music for over twenty years, though I don't know where the time has gone!!! biggrin
Thankyou Prince for sharing your amazing talent with us.

Great to see so many positive thoughts in a thread. I went on 11/9 and loved every minute - B2 row H. Boogied the night away and my other half accused me of behaving like a 20 year old! I'm way older than that, having been a P fam since 1979, but P makes me feel like a 20 year old!

P was on fire and we had aftershow tickets so I was ready for it, but even though he didn't show I still left feeling like I had had the night of my life. There is something about his music that is so powerful - I will still be buying my tickets for the next 20 years!

Its not about where you were sitting - just the fact that you were there!

I was at the 11th August show and loved every minute of it, as did my wife who was dancing like a good'un. Not much of a dancer myself. Can't wait until next time, I always enjoy prince concerts!!

Amen! I had a fabulous time on the 11th (Ok I am a little guilty of moaning about the logistics of dealing with so many people exchanging tickets) but I am so excited about going back on the 31st.

I jumped up and down like a maniac, screamed like a woman possessed and generally behaved like an over-excited teenager! And I loved every minute of it! biggrin
I'm not stopping. I haven't even taken my coat off

C'mon and dance while you, while you still have your cherry babe, cherry babe..

lol You see it is nice to know that the real Prince fans still enjoy the music from the man himself after all these years. My next concerts are on the 17th and 18th August and I am really going to have a GREAT time no matter what.

Why aren't you going to the aftershow? The opening night one was good but seems as though it was quiet towards the ones now. Completely different kind of show and so nice in a small venue.

I think the Batman soundtrack is brilliant that's why when I heard Scandalous I realised why I was such a big Prince fan - the video to the tracks is great too.

I know exactly what makes a Prince fan, and I will be writing about it in a future London related post.
