I went to 1st / 4th August on my own, going to 28th/ 31st on my own including aftershows, but with a mate to 18th / 21st sept. I guess that pretty much makes me billy no mates!!

The LAST NIGHT!!! ...21st September ....though the party at the Holiday Inn has gathered some serious momentum!!

This is a cool thread! I have been to lots of Prince gigs on my own and i like doing my own thing and it is great for the atmosphere anyway I've been with mates as well but there are always social possibilities It would be cool 2 meet some fellow orgers though

Been 1st, 3rd, 7th, 11th.

Going 18th, 31st, 9th, 21st.

Might try to squeeze in 24th, 16th, 29th.

Had tickets to all of them but decided less is more so I gave some away!

I'm going to the concerts and aftershows on 24/8 and 25/8. I've always gone to Prince concerts on my own and have always had a great time.

Going the last night and aftershow then waiting for the tube to start back up at 5 oclock so its gona be a long time !!!

I'm going 2 the gig on the 24th with my 2 sons ( aged 12 & 20 ) They r telling me its kool for me 2 go 2 the aftershow but i dont like the thought off going on me lonesome LOL but actually do really want that aftershow experience So as the song goes "Should I Stay Or Should I Go" !!

Did the opening night's aftershow on "me todd"... Gonna b at the main show and aftershow next saturday (25th) alone as it was a late addition 2 my pile of tickets!!

I'm flying solo on the 6th, 20th and 21st...

I was technically solo on the 28th but met up with friends before the main show - sadly they did not stick around for THE aftershow (yes they are kicking themselves).

It wa interesting to compare actually.. on one hand, the two shows I had company for (1st and 14th) it was cool to have a groobing partner etc. On the other hand, on the 28th I could stand where they hell I wante to at the Aftershow and just get lost in the music on a more personal level. So both are great I guess.

I'm going to the aftershow on the 9th - not on my own, I don't think I could spend one of the best nights of my life (here's hoping!) without having anyone to share the memory with!

I felt sorry for many of the people who came with others, as their friends/partners were encouraging them 2leave early or move 2 somewhere more comfortable (where there was no view), or talking 2 them, or worrying if their friends felt alright or were enjoying themselves enough.... 4get that! PS. thankyou 2 the guy who graciously got me a drink from the bar so I could hold my position in the audience. In many ways, u r not alone at a Prince concert, coz his audience seem 2b a really nice bunch of people!

Hi everyone,

I've been to 2 main and 2 aftershow gigs so far, on the 3rd August (not so good, especially the non show aftershow, and the 24th August (unbelievable after show, one of the best nights of my life, especially when he sang Partyman).

All my friends are Princed out but I'm hoping to go again. I live in the North so its a hassle getting off work and also expensive travelling down and staying over, but I am thinking of travelling down for the 20th main and after show, and then trying desperately to get tickets for the two shows on the 21st.
Doubt he will perform at the after show on the 20th though.

Maybe more tickets will be released nearer the time like they have done with all other shows?

If anyone has decent tickets for the 20th or 21st, please org me. Totally genuine fan and have been on the org for a few months but into Prince for over 20 years, including through some of the obscure 90's stuff (some of which was, let's face it, not so hot).

If I get tickets, then it would be good to meet up with you guys.
