TUE 14th - BEST AFTERSHOW EVER! Last night was truly AMAZING. Prince and Beverly Knight really gave it their all. I can't explain why last night was so special but the atmosphere was different from all the others. Prince is really digging the London crowd because we are so FUNKY.
I'm not sure if last night can be topped now, but I'm just glad I didn't miss out, because I almost sold my aftershow ticket!!!

Empty Room was stunning last night!
What a show - the 3rd I've been to and definately the best, must have played for going on 2 hours?!? No child is bad from the beginning. They only imitate their atmosphere.

yep you aint wrong there - I still cant quite believe how good it was. I saw the aug1 opening night main show and because of that I thought the main show was a bit short. However they were saving it all up for the aftershow weren't they? absobloodylutely awesome.
My mates can't believe that someone can play from 9pm, Have an hour tea break and then play till 3.30am. Maybe they're still looking forward to seeing the Stones at the same venue for 4x the price ! Ha ha ha ha the fans can't get no satisfaction. Where's the aftershow Mick? PASS THE PEAS PASS THE PEAS

Wow, what an amazing night. Two great shows in one night...
I just got back from the airport after two consecutive nights without any sleep at all....will write a detailed review/report real soon after some much needed rest. This was easily one of my all time favorite shows ever. The main show was also very special, IMO. ...more to come. [Edited 8/15/07 8:28am] " I´d rather be a stank ass hoe because I´m not stupid. Oh my goodness! I got more drugs! I´m always funny dude...I´m hilarious! Are we gonna smoke?"

STILL SMILING!!
Yesterday was AMAZING!!! It was just magical to experience last night ... so much joy and excitment and playfulness and pure love for the music. Just to hear Maceo play every night, it's just so incredible to be able to experience this. The band are so extremely talented and funky and stars in their own right. To see them all play together is amazing... improvising and creatinging music there and then... and to "stretch out" musically after the show... this experience can not be described it must be experienced! Last night we had Prince on guitar (obviously) but also bas, keyboard and he was almost going for the drums at one time... Before the show even started we were treated to some serious funk from Parliament, George Clinton, Bootsy Collins etc. by the DJ. So waiting was great To start with Ms Knight did an amazing cover version of Raspberry Beret during her set. Then it all started!!: Hearing the first accords of Empty Room made you realize that tonigt was going to be more than the usual hits. As Beverly out it in her first set. "Tonight we'll make history" The long intro to the song and killer guitar ending... WOW The set list is probably listed in detail in some other thread.. but.. personal highligts were 3121 - with the super funky intro, including lots of other songs Girls & Boys When you were min (intro) PARTYMAN!! and I also believe I heard intro to Head at one time which isone of my favourite songs.. but to be honest I was way to much into enjoying the concert than focusing on the details of the songs... also lots of extended jams, solos etc.. This has sooo overcompensated the Dr. John and last Satuday when the DJ did not have a Prince or P-Funk record of their own (was apparently given a Planet Earth CD by someone in the audience) ----- People call me rude. I wish we all were nude. I wish there was no black and white. I wish there were no rules www.myspace.com/lovesexy_777 [Edited 8/15/07 9:49am] -----

I agree with everything you said. I had a fantastic time, the crowd last night where much more mellow and friendly than on the first night. I can't wait for the next one!
