Ticketmaster selling same ticket twice

Last night i arrived with my block 103 row F tickets purchased the day before from TM only to find there was a couple with these tickets already there bought 1 week before.

We had to go to customer services and eventually got the A2 row D seats (these were great seats btw) but I was wondering if any other orgers buying at the last minute have had the same problem. The customer services guy just rolled his eyes and said "bloody ticketmaster" suggesting mine was not an isolated incident.

I think they have to keep a few tickets back for total f*** ups (like in my case) or for problems with restricted view / access problems / a whole host of other reasons people would probably complain about.

I think someone had actually swapped the A2 tickets for lower tier for some reason as the woman that I sat next to there said that someone had sat there already and had then gone and exchanged for some reason.

I've had 3 last minute tickets, one on the day of show from box office and two the day before a show from ticketmaster. Not experienced this problem yet but it doesn't surprise me one little bit. Glad you got it sorted.
RIP sad

On the first of august when i came to collect my tickets one seller at box office quickly printed a ticket to me saying my tix weren't ready for collection (which puzzled me). I went to another seller and I foun out all my tix (including the Indigo2 ones) were ready in an enveloppe and that the ticket the first seller printed was a duplicate and had to be cancelled. Sometimes it is sooo difficult to stand up and have look around....

So the incident menioned in this thread comes as no suprise for me!
