I was under the impression from some threads that the people brought up on stage were plants.

However, after reading this http://prince.org/msg/12/239321 it sounds like they are not!

Going again tonight so will see if I recognise anyone from the earlier nights.

judging by the "quality" of the dancers they bring up im guessing they are not plants although the girl in purple on saturday night looked as close as you can get to a professional dancer

i agree a lot of people on stage most of the nights ive been which is 4 look lik,e plants when i asked a security guard on the floor how to get up there he said i need a letter !?mere mortals like us dont get anywhere near i'm afraid i did try!

Aug 1 and Aug 3 were "normal" people - from there on plans were installed, so obvious on Aug 4th.

Ther was one very funny individual who got on stahe on Aug 3, very drunk, and danced in a way that took the piss out of prince, to worsen matters thay did it right in front of prince and finished by trying to do the splits it was so funny but P did not find it amsuing hence the plants on stage now

On the last tour, it seemed as if the audience members brought on stage as a group had been pre-selected by Prince's people (and given identifying wristbands). However, Prince himself would sometimes invite someone on stage.
