3 main gigs & 2 aftershows so far and I am partly 'satisfied'. The opening night was exceptional [i say that after 30 + gigs over 20 years!], the song selection, the vocals, playing 4 new tracks from PE and more of a focus on playing the whole song.
Common consensus so far from long time fans and 1st timers is:
1]drop the damn 30 second medley routine many 1st timers will NOT come back]
2]quit with the long instrumentals /'this is a trombone' nonsense
3]play Chelsea Rodgers, Partyman etc if you want people on stage
4]ideally don't have people on stage!.
5]if you are that desperate to educate us the quality of your band let them shine on classic trax, give them solo spots like you do with Cora on Shhh.

Let's not talk about ticket allocations, aftershows etc.
