Possible to sell tickets at the O2 just before the show?

Hi everyone,

Because of Tickemaster saying in May that concerts were sold out, I bought 2 tix on eBay. When new ones were sold via ticketmaster, I bought 2 others, being not sure to receive them bought on eBay.

I will probably have 2 tix to sell (31st aug.). And I have a question for those who already came to one of the gigs: as I may receive them just before the concert and if I can't sell them here, do you think it is possible to sell at the O2? Are there people looking for tix on the night of the show? And where would it be the best to do that at the 02?

I had 3 tix 2 much on the first weekend because 3 of my friends couldn't make it 2 go 2 London (from austria) - did sell them for the face value just in front of the box office - just look after the ladies in the blue sweatshirts - they don't like it, when you sell tickets - but I didn't make any Cent out of it - so I don't see any problem.

You can sell them at the ticket booth. Someone tried to sell me one right infront of the staff who didn't mind since it was a spare and he wasn't touting.

whilst it's not illegal to resale tickets in the uk, it's illegal to sell anything on the streets without a traders permit. the o2 have thier own security all over the place to chase people selling tickets, and thats the technicality they use. they are very much against people selling tickets and move people on

the problem has also been that so many people rebought tickets that there are loads of people wandering about with spare tickets, and no-one to sell them to, so i would strongly suggest you sell them (even at a loss) before arriving at the o2

ticketmaster have held back seats for all the shows to be sold on the day to prevent touts

on the opening day they had trading standards all over the place enforcing the no selling in the streets rule
