Tickets closer to the day...

I just tried to buy tickets for the 1st September and ticketmaster said that 'Tickets currently not on sale' does that mean that they'll be releasing some more over the next few days/weeks or are they sold out?

I know that they have sold at least some as my brother bought some on ticket release day - they're upper tier though, so do you think that they'll be releasing the better seats soon or will they already be sold?

Argh... I'm freaking out a bit as I really want to go on this date (we're doing 31st and have the opportunity to add an extra night on!)

Any advice / suggestions / offers of lower tier tickets will be most welcome!

I went on Saturday 11th and one of my lot didn't have a ticket (long story...), anyhow, thought it might be worth checking the box office, and yes, they had a few lower tier tickets to this so called 'sold out' gig.

A friend of mine emailed me to say that there are postings at housequake.com saying that the box office trickle out tickets at various times before the show.

A word of warning tho, the security are nice but firm when telling you not to buy/sell tickets from other fans. You apparently can give or receive tickets as a gift, but no money can change hands. I would just bop down to the O2 and take your chances if you really *must* go that night.

Good luck!

Just keep checking. I've now bought block D2 for 3 shows and all of these purchases were either on the day of the concert or the day before.

They may be unsold vip tickets. There are certainly people in those blocks wearing hospitality wrist bands.
