A question for Glasgow orgers I'm going to see Prince (for the first time) on 12th September. Aside from the plane, what's the best way to travel in terms of both price and time?
I can't seem to find a really affordable train return ticket, to be honest. I'm going to the aftershow, so however I get there I'm hoping to only have to hang around a station for a few hours before leaving the next morning. Any suggestions anyone? So look into the mirror, do u recognise some1? Is it who u always hoped u would become, when u were young?

Any suggestions anyone? a saver return is £98 from edinburgh to london. it must be about the same from glasgow. its 4.5 hours from edinburgh, with that ticket you travel when you want, you can buy on the day and not have to book or get there early. when you add the checking in time and going to the airport etc, the plane isn't all that much quicker or cheaper, but you have less flexibility with times and you can't change bookings

Me and my brother flew from Glasgow with Easyjet (about £60), then got the combined train and tube ticket from Luton into Thameslink Kings Cross (£31). That covered our transport to and from the airport and the tube around London for 2 days, including out to the arena. We also booked a room in a yoof hostel for the night.
Enjoy! Keith | |
