Jus returned home from a fantastic weekend of gigs. We were at the main shows on Friday and Saturday (10th/11th) and the aftershow on Friday night. We took a pass on the Saturday aftershow in case he didn't turn up, as this could have dampened the end of the weekend. Great choice in the end as it turns out.

Anyway, to the point. He didn't play a single Planet Earth song, the whole weekend. I found this really strange. In fact, I was conviced on Friday that there must be another encore to come, since we hadn't had Planet Earth (the song). Any thoughts on why Planet Earth and Guitar have gone missing from the set-list?

And a point about encores ... isn't it funny how folk (including me) are hanging on WELL past the point where it's clear the gig is over, just because of what happened on the first night?

Sat was my first ever price gig, it blew me away, we hung around for ages until they started coming up to people saying please leave. I think it was more I just couldn't move from being so elated by the musical skill to suddenly it all being over. I was hoping for something off planet earth, and would have loved somemore from Gold, but I guess if we all got we wanted Prince would never be able to put his guitar down
