O2 Parking

Sorry if this has been asked before, I did a search on parking but got no results.

I have paid to park at the O2 for tomorrow night. What do I need to get in the car park on arrival? Is it a credit card\swipe machine kind of thing? Also what is it like getting out after the main concert?

Cheers,

Take with you the credit card you used to pay for the parking ticket, an attendant will swipe it to raise the barrier.

I was heading north to go home and got diverted cos of an accident, took me an hour to get 12 miles through main London, I'd be still be there now going round in circles if it wasn't for my TomTom.

Beware the car park might try and charge you another tenner on the way out...this is what happended to me....instead - I waited til the car park attendant wasn't looking and did a "Starsky & Hutch" up the embankment and around the barriers, it wasn't easy in a 1971 VW Campervan!

Traffic diversions and accidents aside, I thought that it would be mayhem actually leaving the O2 itself as I thought there's be thousands of cars trying to get out. But no problems at all. Drove straight out of the car park through the barrier. No traffic whatsoever in the immediate vicinity of the O2.

Aha! We didn't stay for the aftershow. I think it was 11.30 or 12 or something when we left the O2, might be worth checking what time the last film finishes x

We should contact the cinema and ask them to show Sign o The Times or Purple Rain if the aftershow doesn't happen!

Just follow the signs for Vue cinema parking - it's right near the entrance too

Didn't see any of those signs on Friday, it might be worth parking there and just playing dumb
