Prince in a box?

Not sure if it has been mentioned previously but after last Saturdays gig we came to the conclusion that Prince is pushed from the wings to the stage in a box and pushed backstage in it afterwards.
We sitting at the rear in Block 115,
I swear we were not drunk!

Yes i seen that big box pushed along the floor, when you think about it if it was equipment or electrical things they were runnig a bit late you think.

Sat down in F1 on the opening night, the box was used - except for the final encore.

Band come out first, box follows - box leaves first and band follow.

We did wonder if it is a luxery box or not.....

The final encore was great because the security down there had no idea what was going on when Prince came without the box.....

Yes, Prince definitely arrives on the stage in a box. He is wheeled through the crowd behind the band and then pops up in the middle of the stage.

Prince has been doing this for a long time. During the Musicology Oakland show people around me were saying "Hi Prince!" when he was wheeled to and from the stage. I think it's funny and a smart way to get to the stage without much hassle.

This of course makes me wonder how pimped out the inside of the big black box is. I used to think he had a TV in there, but now I guess he's got a light to read from. Just a guess.

Last night (11th) the box was brought in with about 40 seconds to go on the VT footage at the start of the gig.

The box left the stage at 10.48pm and prince didnt return after that. Unlike the first night where he wandered on and performed 6 tracks with house lights on.
the guitar is the best instrument in the world!
