AEG/O2 really are milking this for all it's worth!! Just when we all thought they couldn't (or wouldn't dare) pull another stroke to try and fleece fans again... they do!

Crazy.

So.... it's £31.21 to get seats on the floor (as close as Row A in some blocks)..... or £235 if you fancy a sausage roll and a glass of fizzy stuff to go with your floor seat (or you could get lower tier!)..... or £250 to get 12' closer and maybe 2 glasses of fizzy stuff and eat as much as you want sausage rolls - and possibly a chance to get pulled up to dance on stage?

Forgot to add....

As it's the day before the gig and these seats/tickets were never on sale before to us mere fans, the chances are they couldn't sell them to corporate bods and so hence trying to flog them now. So....as they are pricey and most of us have had enough of this, these 'stage suite' tickets may go unsold...therefore anyone with 'normal' floor seats for tomorrows show might be able to wangle one of these as a swap at the box office or the customer service desk.

If anyone wants to bother that is!

Would you really want to sit there? You wouldn't be able to see a bloody thing! & if your arse is anything other than petit, you'd fall off the stool.

I plea with every single Prince fan, no matter how much of a fan you are (and I'm quite a sad one lol ), please please PLEASE don't buy these tickets.

They have had enough of our money and I genuinely belive that the comment by FunkyAphrodite is correct....they can't get rid of them and think we'll go "ooh, that would improve my chances of getting pulled onto stage".

Please don't do it folk - they deserve for these seats to go empty. I'm sick of their games. Me and the other half have spent £2000 on these gigs for several shows and aftershows, and if it wasn't for a bunch of orgers we've known for a long time, the VIP experience would be the gig I'm least looking forward to!

You can even get a box now for £1500 for 18 people - the view will be great, and it would be comfortable...for less than £100 each if you know enough people who'd want to go!

I REPEAT....DON'T BUY INTO THIS CRAP!!!!

Here's a better idea.

If it's worth £250 to you to sit that close to the stage....BUY A TICKET.

If it's not....DONT.

Personally, I wouldn't mind sitting there for 1 show if I hadn't already seen my quota for the tour. Personally, I couldn't really justify the £250 at the moment though.

I'm really tempted but there are a few seats in this section that are 'behind the stage' almost around E1 area. I rekon I would end up there if I bought one. Although still really tempted, might check out my money situation for tommorrow, then buy a ticket (and regret it if they put be at the back of the symbol). If I already had VIP, I would be pissed off about this and wouldn't spend more money. Never bought VIP at the time, so it would mean that I have spent as much as I could have. If I travelled down for an aditional night it would be about £180 with travel ticket and hotel - so it ain't alot of difference seeing as I already have a hotel and train booked for this saturday. Gonig to have to think about this hard now

Just totally fed up of this now. I've got my tickets delivered today finally and despite ticketmaster telling me that I was in block A3 it turns out i'm in D2. Still great VIP seats, however I found some pictures on the net of the empty venue and wondered who the little velvet roped off sections were for. I guess now I know! So basically yet again we find out that there are still better seats we could have had if as die hard fans we had just thought "you know what, I really want to go, but I won't buy tickets, I'll get my crystal ball out and see whats coming up on the horizon" I's just ridiculous!

It could well be that AEG are trying to flog the seats near E1/A2, which does not have access to the stage should you desire to dance with P. Chances are that the better seats are taken already, as Ticketmaster/AEG were selling 'the best floor seats available' in the 'VIP Gold Ticket' scam, and people were being seated in the mid tier... only to find out later that:

a) they were being given away to some people in the upper tier to fill up the seating before the show.

b) front row seats were being later auctioned off, to the highest bidder ie. being held back for this reason

c) floor seating that would otherwise be VIP Gold Seating close, were being sold on Ticketmaster for the £31.21 price because they could not sell them as VIP (I bought 2 tickets at this price in Block C2 Row E, on the 7th... and they were better than the VIP seats we were given on the 1st Block C1 Row E!)

Don't get me wrong I loved the shows and (I managed to be reseated from Row K Mid Tier Block 101, to the floor after much arguing). However the promoters are clearly milking fans, and now I think they are giving false hope to those who would like to go on stage, there is a strong likelyhood you will end up next to the band looking at the back of Prince's head and £250 poorer for it with NO access to the stage. Beware!

And then to imagine my bestprincefriend in australia bought VIP-tix for 1000 AUD (bit more than 400 pounds) a few years ago. However, for that money, you got into a pre-show session with Prince in which you could talk with him, and during the concert you had seats ON the stage and had the opportunity to dance with him!

you can see pics of the stage on flickr, and you will see the tables tucked away nearer the top of the symbol. It is extremely likely that the better so called 'stage seats' with access to the stage, have in fact been sold to people inside the industry already, and what's left are being sold off nearer the top loop of the symbol... as this is exactly how the public/fans have been treated to date by Ticketmaster/AEG second best if that. To be honest I am 6'3"(in height not width), and I have stood by the stage and I had to jump up and down to see P, and feel you get a better view overall from further away as the stage is high.

Squirrel - I can't find this now...it was on my PC at home, but it has since closed itself down and restarted, so the site is lost.

It was a green and white page, and definitely a site I'd heard of before...not much help is it?! Try googling it.

I see some on ebay is selling individual VIP box seats now. Thing is, I think my Block 111 and 102s are better seats!

I see the Stage Suite seats have already sold out for the last night.

You're so right, and I bet it will definitly be the case. I was so tempted last night just to do it but when I looked at the venue and realised that there were some of these tables at the top of the symbol I immediately realised that the likelihood was that I'd end up getting scammed and be totally gutted as a result. I haven't paid a shedload of money already to then pay even more only to find myself looking at the back of Prince. You know that what they are selling are corporate seats going begging for whatever reason, and the only way that would happen is because they are the poorest corporate seats. If anyone out there does get lucky enough to be in the stage suites facing Prince then I congratulate them. But I've shelled out £235 a ticket already so I just can't afford to take a gamble like this in a bid to try and get better seats and then end up worse off!

If you aren't in a suite is there still a chance of being able to get up on stage? Prince does that a lot and I'd love the opportunity to get up there, but is that out of the question if you're not in those little enclosure's?

There is a post by Matti, about getting on stage and he said that "If your wondering how to get on stage well here goes...I was Lucky enough to get front row on Sat 4th .The security gaurds gave us and the VIPs wristbands. They informed us that if you were lucky enough to be chosen then it was a way of security knowing who you were when you left the stage". confused
