stop all the moaning We all know what prince is like he does what he wants when he wants i was lucky to be there on 10th but after traveling from newcastle to london after a great show if prince hadnt came on in aftershow(£25 not alot of money) i wouldnt have been over the moon but it was a chance i was willing to take and ok me and my wife were lucky(1st time ever) but if he hadnt shown we were still in a night club havin a few beers and reflecting on a great gig and THANKS 2 to beverly knight who had a lot to do with him performing.....rant over | |

But would you pay £25 to get in a bar/club normaly? what the funk does that mean? would you normally pay £31.21 to see one of the greatest living performers this generation? NO! most bands/artists want £60+ these days. so even if prince didnt show at an aftershow, its still only £56.21. get over it! "Lets just go somewhere...We can funk"

But would you pay £25 to get in a bar/club normaly? Strangely enough I once had the misfortune to do just that... I was in Miami NYE 95 (on holiday from UK) so I thought it would be great to see in the New Year at Glam Slam and pestered my friends to go too. Paid $50 to get in only to discover that it was the gayest club in South Beach, and that's an achievement in itself. My buddies aren't homophobes but they were giving me dirty looks all night as they were hoping to hook up with some ladies for the night. Obviously, it's something we all laugh about now  | |
