'3121 - the Official Aftershow'

No mention of Prince!!

Does that mean he's definetly not appearing at tuesday's aftershow??!

Or does it indeed mean the exact opposite of that...???

I am a complete sucker anyway...I just bought 2 tix (even though I was planning to change my tix from Saturday for tomorrow).

And we have to drive back to South Wales again straight after because we gotta go to work the next day. It was bad last Tuesday, we're still recovering from the weekend, and now we're so stupid we're doing it all again!

i would not read anything in to that other than ticketmaster have decided to avoid trouble calling it prince following all the emails and calls they got for the no show.

will he won't he? nobody knows. my gut say yes for tuesday but don't ask me for a refund later if he doesn't

I think it's more of a case that they're in the shit with disgruntled fans for billing it as 'Prince - The Official Aftershow' and Prince not bothering to turn up, so they're renaming it to try to remove any ties to Prince.

Very interesting though. Why rename just this one and none of the others? It doesn't even appear when you look for Prince and click on the official aftershow, you have to search the artist or venue as '3121'.

I guess their legal team has finally explained to them that can't sell it under the "concert" section and "Prince" section anymore. About time. I could have saved them a fortune!

2moro is the 7th show at o2, hopefully the 7th means an aftershow will be special, hopefully the bouncers will say if he's def not showing like they did on Saturday. I should stop saying hopefully,

The man is messing with my head. Just got main show ticket for tomorrow, so do I gamble on the aftershow or not? Supposed to have a work meeting on Wednesday, so the aftershow probably isn't sensible anyway.

Could well be something in it being the 7th night though. You know how Prince is with numbers and particularly the number 7. Could he do full on performances after shows 7, 14 and 21? 7,7,7

Just noticed that all aftershows now seem to be named 3121 the official aftershow.

I worked out my tickets to aftershows by getting into 49 year old man mode*.... ( I’m a 30 sumink lass so it was a bit of a headache)

Any how, I devised a little 'equation' based mainly on my feelings* but the system has worked for me twice now.
It’s Based on how ‘excited’ P is after the concert and the fact that at 49 he gets tired whether we like it or not!!

P’s Excitement level 6 -10 (Generated by concert crowd and/or support act that turns him on/inspires him musically)

Sleep deprivation - 0 +5 (how many shows in a row that week?)
For instance:
1st Aug night excitement level +10!
1st night sleep deprivation - 0
= Definitely be at Aftershow.

I’ve been to 2 after shows using my little ‘equation’. 1st Aug and 7th Aug both were Amazing.
Already got tkts for and 20th & 21st Sept.

Plus you can now buy aftershow tickets on the same night after a concert or during the day (giving you time to figure out who the support is and how excited P will be to jam on stage with them! Which will cancell out the lack of sleep equation everytime!!)

For tonight, I would take a chance based only on the 2days rest before and after the concert he has, which equals -0 sleep deprivation!! ( always good in 49yr man mode)

That is what my tickets clearly have printed on them....

I've just looked at Ticketmaster & they've all been changed to 3121 now.
I also checked out the O2 website & it's advertised as: PRINCE The Official Aftershow Party 3121
