I just can't believe how blind some people are about these aftershows! Especially Friday 3rd Aug were Prince did'nt perform? excuse after excuse sorry I don't buy any of them...
People were ripped off and thats a fact!

Was I ripped off on the 10th with one of his best aftershows on record. I think not.

Yeah granted Ticketmaster was a little bit late in putting this announcment on their site but Prince has no control over their actions so i cant see how this his is fault.

At the shows all Prince talks about is doing it Old Skool and going back to the funk, well people like James Brown would perform two shows night after night, if you are really old skool get your ass on stage at the indigo do 2 shows a night and stop pissing off your fans, in the words of James Brown they want Payback

When we were knackered having waited outside a club 4 hours, 4 nothing 2 happen, and nothing did, we had no animosity towards Prince or his organisers, because they never really officially stated anything, and most of the time we were going on rumours. That is why this time is different, the statements on 3121 and ticketmaster just came 2 late, and the whole ticket selling schemes have just tried 2 exploit the genuine fans, for 'VIP' seats, crap opening block sales..etc. This has just added to a bad taste compared to the last tour, where NPGMC members were really treated special and given privileged access to the best seats, sound checks and aftershows.

There's no way Prince is allowing the Indigo 2 use his name, give his band access, etc without getting paid, so he must have sanctioned the use of it at least, and so must take some of the blame.

I'm not here to Prince-bash but his people at least need 2 stop just looking at the bottom line, which is what it feels like this time, and they are also making people wait hours in the Indigo b4 announcing he isn't going 2 show, totally unacceptable, at least people can decide 2 enjoy the venue, or leave, instead of cramming up against the stage 4 hours getting hot and knackered - we are humans 2 and have lives, we just want a bit of courtesy from the organisers, they see it happening night after night. I know they've started 2 tell people, but it's all just not great 4 those who truly love the man.


I've still had a great time at the shows so far - 10 more 2 go 4 me & 2 aftershowsish. I'm really loving the shows, he's awesome! Let's not 4get he's done the tix cheap at £13.21 & the album free - just hating this whole aftershow bollocks!

All the aftershows haven't been rip offs. Just a couple. The problem is Prince is damaging he own good aftershow rep with shit like this.

He should simply stop taking bookings up front. Return to a setup where he can chose to do an inpromtu show, and fans can turn up if they want to.

Pre-scheduling leads to expectation, expectation leads to let down.

No he didn't! That's the point though. People shouldn't be playing a lottery with aftershow tickets. 99.9% people buy aftershow tickets because they want to see Prince. Some get to see him, some don't. Hardly fair. I'm going to my first aftershow this Saturday and I'm having to keep everything crossed until then hoping that he'll show. If he doesn't then it's only natural I'm going to be disappointed. Some say I won't have a right to be disappointed as we all know beforehand that he might not show. We shouldn't have to play that game. It should be published beforehand whether he's going to show or not. That way, if we want to pay £25 to see more of him then we do. If we don't want to, then we don't. Simple as that.
