I went to see the concert last night, very nearly got tickets to aftershow too, I spoke to a lady who worked at the Indigo 2 who said that Prince attends the bar every night and has said he will PERFORM on 17 nights out of 21! Can anyone report back on last nights aftershow?? If it was a good one I'm gonna kick myself!

There wasn't one!!! We were in the queue when we were told he wasn't performing.

As a one off, they said they would exchange tickets for another night. The queues for the ticket office were enormous. We managed to swap ours for the 24th and I said to the guy "if he decides not to play that night can we exchange them again for another night?!" We were told that this was a one off gesture and there was no option for a refund either.

A lot of very unhappy people. We were told there would only be a DJ performing. Such a shame as P was on fire last night and so were the crowd. We had a great time and I was ready to party on til dawn, but it was not to be. These aftershows really are the luck of the draw.

Makes me think that perhaps the info on 3121 was correct at the time it was writtem and that Prince was actually scheduled to play last night and not Friday night.

I was in the queue at 11:20 and left at bang on midnight when we got told the news. We were told refund or exchange for another date, and I got a picture of the woman who said it as I know I'm going to have hassle getting either.

So how does it work then? The only people reading 3121.com will be Prince's biggest fans. So what happens when you put an incorrect statement up like that? You get more people who'd like to see Prince but are more casual than most on here I imagine, or just out for booze and a DJ, going on the Friday,but actually getting to see Prince, and you disappoint your true fans on the Saturday.

I've got to say it soured the two main gigs - given Prince's rumoured tight control over everything, I can't see the statement on the website being unknown to him. I think it basically comes down to Beverly Knight being amazing, and Prince couldn't resist jamming with her - at the cost of being able to play at Saturday's gig.

So do I now go to next weekend's Friady and Saturday aftershows, on the basis he will hopefully make one of them? I'm not staying walking distance next weekend, so it's going to cost more. If I do decide to, I can tell you now I won't believe a word I see on 3121.com.
