Aftershows - relax a little and have less beer

Mighty fine aftershow last night, Prince in rare form. So.....
Why oh why must a small minority get steaming drunk at the aftershows? I find it really strange as I assume that people who pay their £25 to get in are "hardcore" and would relish every second of a Prince aftershow. But unfortunately there are some who seem to just stagger around drunkenly with their backs to the stage either unaware or uncaring about the amazing show they are missing. Sadly they will probably be bragging to their friends about what a great gig it was and saying "I was there", without having seen more than 2 minutes of the set. I stayed to the rear of the club all night so other folks may have seen more bad examples but the worst I saw were:
Young guy in white shirt staggering around collapses to the floor in front of the mixing desk. Had spent the previous half hour bumping into people.
Obnoxious creep in white shirt near the DJ booth. He truly believed he was God's gift and was drunkenly trying to get off with every woman within staggering distance. He was really creepy, groping women and pressing himself TOO close for comfort. His friend finally had enough and hit him twice clapping Thankfully, he was ejected from the club after this incident but why the hell do folks like this bother going in the first place. The £25 spent getting in could have bought them more booze in a nearby pub confuse

Seen P every tour since 1988, and in my opinion, was at his best last night. my creaky 38 year old body is definitely not used to dancing for the best part of 4 hours, am going to sleep now, for...Oooh, about a week!

Yeah, top night. To anyone reading this thread who's thinking of going... don't let this small minority of idiots ruin your night. Most folks there are relaxed and having fun so the muppets tend to stand out from the crowd lol
