Kids At The Gigs!!

I am going to two show's, 1st on the 14th August, 2nd the 9th September.
The first one though i am taking my oldest daughter, who is 10.
Do you think she will enjoy???
I have primed her for years for this day, and i can't wait for it to arrive.
If any one is going to the 14th's show keep an eye for us. There will be 6 of us in total, 2 kids 4 adults.
I am sooooo excited about these shows. This will probably be my 8th/9th time i have seen Prince, but i get so wound up!!!!!

They'll love it - but a tip. Get some ear plugs, they're really cheap, the kids can still hear the music, but it takes the edge off the loudness. If you look carefully, quite a few musicians use them. Kids are sensitive & if it's too loud and they want to leave all your evening is ruined.

At concerts, I'm sure that all musicians wear ear protecton come mic feed as it enables them to hear what they play more easily.
Re-usable ear protection is something that should be seriously considered for anyone that attends a lot of concerts.

THAT IS TOO BAD! MAKE SURE YOU TELL YOUR SON THIS IS SOMEONE HE NEEDS TO SEE LIVE AT LEAST ONCE! ALOT OF THE NEW GUYS OUT THER (INCLUDING TECHNO) WERE AND ARE INSPIRED BY PRINCE..... YOU SHOULD PLAY THE "COME" ALBUM FOR HIM - SOME REALLY COOL TECHNO-ISH PIECES..... I WAS HOOKED AT 9 YEARS OLD ON THE DUDE, I THINK IF YOU CAN GET HIM TO GO, DRAG HIS ASS OUT THERE & ENJOY IT TOGETHER. THAT WILL BE AN AWESOME MEMORY FOR YOU GUYS AS WELL.....GOOD LUCK. cool

Yeah, somehow... sad he's not even interested by getting 2 London...what a shame! When I was 17 London was one of the most exciting things...rember the time, looking out in London 4 Prince bootlegs... cool that was so cool

Definitely not too young. I took my 8 yr old nephew on opening night, along with my 14 yr old brother. My brother was impressed and my nephew really wants to go again (especially as we mistakenly skipped out before the end and he keeps going on about missing 'Raspberry Beret' and 'Little Red Corvette').
