VIP Experience on Saturday 11th Surprise surprise, I actually had a good time in VIP last night.
No preshow meant we were there up to almost 8.30, the food was plentiful and actually pretty good, more than enough wine for me and an endless supply of water (which for me is just as important) and a good crowd too and met up with some cool people. To top it off I had good D1 seats as well. Is it overpriced? yes wildly, but you got to make the most of it.

We were expecting the VIP experience to be disappointing after all the post we read on here but we enjoyed it. The preshow was good, great choice of food, no soggy sausage roll buffet. Good bars and waitress service. We unfortunately got seat in F2 which we were more than gutted about but... the second Prince came on we escaped our seats and tagged ourselves onto the end of a D block. We had the best view and loads of space, Prince was constantly over at our side of the stage and we danced our asses off. My legs are still aching and throat is horse 24 hours later which proves it was a great night. Granted, Prince teasing us with snippets of songs was frustrating but he built the crowd up brilliantly... He left us wanted more so we are definitely going back. I thing the last week of shows will be incredible!

I agree, was at VIP last night (11th) and had a great time, went in at 18:15 and stayed till 20:20, loads of staff, food was nice, lots of it, I was just expecting basic cheese and onion on a stick, but there was wraps and allsorts. Me and friend drank our quota full of white wine, sat at the front of the bar in the dropdown bit over the edge of the stage where you can see the hanging backdrop sheets, was a really cool place to hang out as you can see people entering the area and get a real vibe going, I'd reccommend sitting there, a member of staff told us to go there as soon as we got in as it was still quiet.
Was hardly any queuing for drinks or food, staff were really helpfull and friendly, had a chat with a few nice people there, couldn't believe how many people I spoke to and it was their first time to see Prince live, I thought VIP would be full of hardcore fans after the best seats !!! Ended up with great view in Block E1, Row C so we saw Prince in profile when he was at the Mic in the centre of the stage, and he came round ourside loads, but I did see load's of VIP'ers at the back in the F* blocks which is relly bad for all that money. I had a great night, had a couple of hours to get the vibe going and ended up with good seats by luck rather than AEG organisation. Still massively overpriced and for that money they should have just reserved VIP seats at the front of the stage, I will never buy tickets in a package again without knowing the block/row/seat number when I pay, I don't trust to be allocated 4 days before the gig !!! Only thing to improve would be to have a seperate entrance for VIP tickets, for that money waiting 20 mins to get ya bags searched isn't very VIP, but thats just a small grumble compared to what I expected.

A separate entrance for VIP is definitely a good idea.
There was a lengthy delay in getting in last night for VIP people who had tickets with the wrong picture on them. The peeps at the door wouldn't accept them and had to check for 'clearance' so they could scan them and let us in. It held up most of the queues and people (including the group I was with) were getting very frustrated - the far left queue were streaming in and we were wasting valuable VIP time in the lounge! Eventually it was sorted; a cock up as those tickets with the different picture were meant for a later date, and they scanned fine. A fuss over nothing, but we got over it once we got the wine in.
