Hotel recommendations for the 18th

I've decided to stay over on the 18th so I can go the aftershow. Can anyone recommend cheap hotels they have stayed at so far?

We are staying at the comfort inn in Kensington, not really expensive and it takes you only 15 min with the subway to the 02. We also stayed there on the 3rd. Nothing fancy but okay for one night, cost +/- bp 67

I stayed at the Apex City of London Hotel which is very close to the Tower of London. About 10 minutes walk from London Bridge tube station (five or so stops from the O2 on the Jubilee line), or better still about 45 minutes walk along the South Bank from the Thames Clipper which takes 20 minutes to the O2 and only costs about £2 more than the tube did. Well worth it! The hotel also was really nice - very classy, very quiet, and you get a free rubber duck in your bathroom!

Oh yes no problem there no curfew or anything. The rooms are next door to the pub and they give you a key. We got back from the aftershow at 3:15am you really couldn't stay anywhere closer.

Haven't a clue I wasn't driving so never took notice of that. I'd give 'em a ring Squirrel they were pretty helpful over the phone smile
