Indigo question

Going to the O2 for the first time tomorrow, I know the show starts around 8:30 but what time do doors open at Indigo for the aftershow? If there's gonna be a long wait I can pop outside for a crafty ciggie or ten.
Also, is it easy to get a seat in there as my old pins can't take being stood on for too long lol

Lol

The indigo opens at 11.30. Thats give you a nice 30 minute mega fag break from the main show.

Don't worry about waiting in the queue, puff away and arrive at 11.30 (everything is 30 seconds walk apart).

No seats downstairs in the Indigo. What section are your tickets?

There was quite a big queue for the Indigo on Tuesday and it stretched outside the o2 complex. Was about 40 minutes before the doors opened plenty of time to get some vitamin N on board!

Depends on your definition of big. I walk past 20 mins before opening (11.10pm) and it was only 40 people deep.

Last Wednesday, that queue had 1500 people in it by 11.05 and it looped outside the building!

Me and the missus went to the concert and aftershow on Saturday...the queue for the Indgio when we got out of the arena went out the door for the O2! We were staying at the Holiday Inn Express which is about 15 minute walk away so we went back there, freshened up, walked back...it was about 12:20 then and the queue had all gone...walked straight in and didn't miss a beat! smile

Yeah, don't bother with the queue right after the show. After the show on tuesday we went for a drink in one of the bars in the O2. And for a cig outside. Went back in at about 12:15-12:30 and the queue was gone. Had a great spot 10 feet in front of the soundbooth. If you wanna be upfront in his face you probably stand in queue right after show, but seeing your condition I 'd suggest to hang a bit longer in the bars, and perhaps sit in the back of the Indigo on the floor until it starts.

The view is great wherever you are in the Indigo as its a very small intimate venue. It does get really hot in there at the front of the stage as well so if you wanna be at the front you are gonna have to queue and then stand at the front of the stage from 10.30ish till 1.30am on the off chance Prince may play.

Much better to chill, enjoy the other bars in the O2, go in when queue has gone and enjoy the atmosphere in relative comfort... or maybe im just getting too old for this sh**e (at 35).

I do think the shows starting at 1.20am is taking the mickey when the main show finishes at 11pm.
