Gav
I just watched a review on Channel 4 this morning (Rise) and there was no mention of our hero. However it showed a clip of Ckaka Khan performing there and in the background I noticed a short guy who had a striking resemblance to the man dancing away. He was wearing an orange shirt though. mmm. How can a non-musician discuss the future of music
From anything other than a consumer point of view?

Hi
Im pretty sure he wasnt there...saw most of the awards on a live web cast including Chaka. It was interesting that there was no mention of Prince whatsoever...including the build up to Chakas award...mentioned some of the producers and musicians she had worked with but not Prince. Chaka sang well but to a backing track...could it be Prince turned the awards down...hence no mention?! Live life and be happy

Hey,
Prince wasn't at the Mobo Awards last night,as he's not media friendly these days, I guess there was too many cameras for him.. Neptunes got the award for best producers, Norah Jones for best Jazz Lp,Alicia Keys for best album but none of them were there LL Cool J made a Prince reference when introducing an host as "the most beautiful girl in the world", I think it was N'Jay There were performances from Ja rule, Craig david, Ashanti, Jimmi Cliff, Chaka Khan who sung "I'm every woman", In fact the whole ceremony was quite boring...I'm glad Prince didn't show up. You can watch the whole show here: http://www.msn.co.uk/liveevents/ Some details about the winners: http://www.mobo.com/ Later, Tima
