Why the dancers....WTF? I was at the concert on 18th August and I have to say it was a fantastic show, also the aftershow was way beyond my expectations....BUT....why oh why do the people from the audience who get on stage have to stay there for so long. They must have been there for around 3 songs, one of them tried to move in close on Prince to get his attention but he was having none of it.
Also the show didn't start till around 9.20 and by 10.20, he was off stage ready for the 1st encore. That was a little disappointing but it didn't spoil a brilliant night Always cry 4 love never cry 4 pain | |

That was a little disappointing but it didn't spoil a brilliant night the one I went to , one of the audience dancers ventured round the back of the Symbol an dnobody realised until a bit too late...everyone left the stage an nobody realise until the lights went down and Maceo had to guide her off. That was teh night one of the Twinz fell over an nearly disappeared off the end of the stage...yep, a night to remember!!! | |

Yes I agree it is all about people having fun....BUT it's even more about seeing Prince and his band on stage. If the audience don't get on stage do think that will stop them having fun?...I think not!! If I wanna see them dancing I'll watch the audience instead but seeing them on stage (which was for at least 10 minutes) is a distraction and not what I paid my ticket price for, my travel (300 miles), hotel bill etc KAPEESH!!! If I get on your nerves for voicing my opinion then that's your problem.  Always cry 4 love never cry 4 pain | |

Hello your Royal badness  I have been reading through the comments posted and have had to smile at myself. I was one of the purple girls that were lucky enough to be on stage for what was actually 5 songs and seemed to last a lifetime even for me! Would I have changed it if I could? Not in a million years! I had the opportunity to be on stage with a musical and lyrical genius! I will never forget it as long as I live! So what were a frustrating 10 minutes for you sir is a lifelong memory to me and I’m sure the other girls. I would like to thank Kevin, Princes head of security for giving us such a wonderful opportunity, I only wish I could have seen it for myself! I have captured it however, it my heart and I am still in a state of purple utopia! Prince, his dancers and his band were amazing, they preformed like nothing I have ever seen before! And the after show? Wow! The man is a legend!Purple Ladies | |
